The Thirteen Signs

Welcome to Suiko, Japan's second largest City, a near rival to Tokyo itself. Situated in North Western Hokkaido, Suiko City is a metropolis built upon the mountainous hills of the snowy land. The city is beautiful, prosperous, expansive, and mystical.

None who live here can deny the strange force that emanates from the Town's center square; the Three Pillars. Large, stone pillars, said to be the petrified cages of three fooled Deities, these landmarks seem to bring a new force to Suiko that is not entirely human. As such, residents of Suiko aren't what you could consider your average run of the mill Japanese; one could explain more, but... wouldn't you rather find out for yourself?

Welcome to Suiko, the city unlike any other.

The Staff and Members of The Thirteen Signs would love to thank Smangii for their wonderful codes and the resources they helped provide during creation! Thank you! We would also like to thank the creators of each anime who's images have been used, and we do not claim ownership of any of the images. Another thanks to our sister site, Blood Red Snow White, for their organizational ideas and other inspirations. Also, a great thanks to my staff and members, who have contributed to plot ideas and graphics creation.

But, most importantly, TTS would like to thank members like you. You are the life and blood of our site, and without you around, there would be no forum at all! Please, continue to support us, we love your dedication! Let's also not forget the wonderful outside sources all over the web that provides us this myth information.

Central District
[ ]The Three Pillars
A triple set of tall, black stone pillars, said to be the direct center of the city lines of Suiko, as well as the source of power for the mystical citizens. Legend has it that three deities of ancient times are sealed within the dark stone, although it is impossible to prove this, seeing as a strange force keeps the stones from being harmed or broken. Because it is a center point and tourist attraction, the area around the Three Pillars is generally crowded.

Sub-Boards: The House Summit

[ ]Hen Mannaka Strip
Borrowing from the original name of the District, the Hen Mannaka is the "It Place" in all of Suiko, if not Japan itself. Equivalent to other famous streets world wide, Hen Mannaka is a long strip through the Central District, featuring prime clubs, shopping centers, and resturants. Apartments of the extremely wealthy also tower above, watching from the Sky Scraper penthouses and flats, as the street never sleeps, the dazzling neon as beautiful as any Las Vegas night.

Sub-Boards: Tsuyayaka Hall, Sora no Houseki Penthouses, Kaimono Mall, Amaterasu, Sakura Drops
00
[ ]Center Ring
Called the "Center Ring" for the fact that it rings around the Central District, the Center Ring holds most of the more important parts of Suiko City's infrastructure. Fire Stations, Police Headquarter's, Hospitals, and Universities dot the Center Ring, as well as businesses and a few apartments. Because of it's importance to Suiko society, many people refer to this area as the most normal, smooth running part of the city.

Sub-Boards: Suiko Center University, Suiko Central Police Station, Suiko Central Hospital, Juuni Kisaki International High School
00
Hokubu District
[ ]The Hokubu Village
A small neighborhood, bordering alongside the the Center Ring, and affectionately known as "The Village", although it is officially Hokubu itself. Streets are traditional dirt, traffic is limited to prohibited, and homes, while opulent, are old fashioned and traditionally Japanese. The main point of this area is to preserve Japanese tradition, as well as house the main Houses of Di. Laws here are very strict, however, and non-traditional practices are frowned upon.

Sub-Boards: Shatotentei Castle
00
[ ]Hokkaido Outlands
A generally freezing, unwelcoming world, lying mostly to the north, despite the fact it wraps around most of Suiko City. These are the Hokkaido Outlands, only recieving moderate protection from the Three Pillars, with mountains the loom with bitter cold temperatures over Suiko. None the less, this natural area is very popular amongst tourists, and is often used as an area for outtings. Kami are also more known here.

Sub-Boards: Lake Kon, Hohoemashii Springs, Suiko Mountain Range
00
Azuma District
[ ]Festival Row
A long street, cutting right through Azuma Neighborhood, the Festival Row is where the majority of carnivals, festivals, and other parties are held here. Generally a quiet row of shops otherwise, when no events are being held, this area lights up with bright when events occur. Sitting at the end of the Festival Row is the large, world famous Suiko Library.

Sub-Boards: The Librarium
00
[ ]Azuma Neighborhood
A majority of Azuma, being the residential type area. Containing many homes, grocery stores, resturants, and schools, Azuma is where most residents of Suiko choose to live. The homes are styled as modern Japanese, and most resturants and other areas of entertainment are Japanese themed, unlike the Americanized Western District.

Sub-Boards: Residential Row, Miyamoko High School, Iekei Ramen Bar
00
[ ]Uwajimaya
A large [almost to a disturbing extent] super center that sells products of almost every kind--from clothing to food to technology of many kinds. While many small time shops sell bits and pieces of what Uwajimaya has to offer, nothing compares to the vastness of Uwajimaya itself. This large store sits on the edge of Azuma, towards Central.
00
[ ]Reimei no Sanctuary
An enormous park owned by the Reimei house. There are trees dotted everywhere in this park as well as a large, shallow pond that stretches from one end of the park to the other. A bridge connects the sides of the park separated by the pond. Statues also dot the park, creating the perfect epitome of serenity.

Western District
[ ]White Row
The most recent invasion of west, the Western Lands are, in a majority, known as "White Row"; not due to the racial charge, no, but rather the fact the most buildings are made of lovely white brick, over the traditional Japanese wood. Architecture carries a distinct European influence, and all of the hip fashions and trends of western influence are found here. While the politically correct term for this area is "Entertainment", it is in reality more "Western".

Sub-Boards: Evangelical Ring, Hip Town
00
[ ]Uesutan
The final stronghold of the East, this thin strip borders between Central and the Western District, housing what remains of normal Japanese culture on this side of town. In the center, the large property of House Inu, who chose to remain, despite the overbearing presence of European and American society.

Sub-Boards: Yabun Farm, White Monkey Labs
00
Lowtown
[ ]Warehouse District
A maze of unending warehouses, previously used for storage and business of the like; however, ever since the rise of the technological age of Suiko, most of the warehouses became useless for means of industry. Now, only a few are used in business, and most have been converted into shoddy apartments and mase's, to house the fallen mighty of Suiko's underbelly.

Sub-Boards: Kuroi Lane, Hinkon District, Club Neko-Neko, Broken Spirit Tavern
00
[ ]Shakuhou Property
The most southern outskirts of all of Lowtown, where the poor do not populate; or at that, the criminal factions themselves. No, this land is meant for the Shakuhou, and while all are welcome here, those who stand against Shakuhou ideals are not quite as tolerated as others... of course, this means House sympathizers are highly frowned upon. Be reminded, of course, that the Shakuhou will do anything to meet their ends, including crime.

Sub-Boards: Shakuhou Hall, Selectus Villa
